Piratería o no piratería

La piratería es ese mal que afecta a gran parte de la sociedad desde hace mcho tiempo; aunque últimamente se ha intensificado de forma exponencial hasta el punto de convertirse en un hábito y no algo circunstancial como ocurría en otros tiempos.

"Carmina o Revienta" por Paco León

Así comienza la cinta de la que todo el mundo habla. Se trata, efectivamente de "Carmina o Revienta", escrita y dirigida por el sevillano Paco León, conocido por muchos por su interpretación en la serie "Aida" como Luisma.

"La voz dormida" por Benito Zambrano

"La voz dormida" es una película dirigida por el sevillano Enrique Zambrano en 2011; de hecho se estrenó el 21 de octubre en España. Su duración es de 128 minutos aproximadamente.

"Melancholia" by Lars von Trier

"Melancholia" is a 2011 long film written and directed by Lars von Trier, who was born fifty six years ago in Denmark. Of course, the language of the film is English, so you should watch it in original version because this way the sound is not modified; it is exactly the same as it was recorded.

"Monsieur Lazhar" by Philippe Falardeau

"Monsieur Lazhar" was both written and directed by Philippe Falardeau in 2011; whereas the story is based on the stage play of Evelyne de la Chenelière.

This Canadian film has a running time of 94 minutes and its original language is French. That is the reason why I recommend you not to watch this film dubbed. It is mainly distributed by Music Box Films.

San Sebastian Film Festival

I am glad to talk about the Spanish San Sebastian Film Festival, that this year is fortunalety celebrating its 60th aniversary (it was founded in 1953). This time the important Festival, well known around the globe in spite of having a low budget, happened from Friday 21st to Saturday 29th September 2012.
